Throughout the ages, before the modern earth, before the deluge of Atlantis, and even before the fire and brimstone of Lemurian times – there was Merlin. And Merlin had a job.
Out of all who exists, as with all those who have existed before, only ONE is exalted enough to wield the powerful forces in the mystical sword EXCALIBUR. The last great knight was Arthur, the current one the world needs now has not yet been decided.
The Stone of Destiny (or Stone of Scone): In some legends, Merlin is connected to the Stone of Destiny, which is said to roar when the rightful king stands upon it. This stone symbolizes legitimacy and kingship, and Merlin's association with it underscores his role in determining the rightful rulers.
... it is the Destiny of the king that gets born, nurtured and developed. THEY are usually the one most surprised.
THIS IS THE THIRD OFFERING in the Wizardry series of workshops.
The power of frequency and vibration in our life
Energy is everywhere. Everything is made up of energy including thoughts and emotions. This post gives a clear idea of the frequency you emit when you run different emotions through your body.
“Everything in life is vibration.” –Albert Einstein
We are constantly interacting with an environment full of entities with their own vibrational frequencies. Our equilibrium is affected by everything we come into contact with. Over time one’s core frequency and vibration can be altered depending on the consistency of the exposure to these vibrational frequencies.
Make note that the correlation of vibration and frequency are interlinked. Something with a lower vibration can be increased in the presence of a higher frequency, and the higher the vibration a body has, the higher the frequency it emits. Vibration seeks synchronicity. This is known as the law of entrainment.
What does this mean in human terms? We have a certain level of control over the environments and entities we expose ourselves to. If we practice observance and personal awareness, we have the ability to exert control in the environments, interactions, relationships, and in connections, we allow to affect our own vibration.
When you think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration, you open up your mind to a whole new way of looking at the world.
Excalibur:While Excalibur is primarily associated with King Arthur, Merlin plays a crucial role in its story. He is often depicted as the one who helps Arthur obtain the sword, which symbolizes rightful sovereignty. Merlin's involvement with Excalibur reflects his wisdom and connection to Arthur's destiny.
Excalibur is a legendary sword in Arthurian legend that is associated with King Arthur and Britain's rightful sovereignty:
Excalibur is a legendary sword, in the mythology of Great Britain. It was owned by King Arthur. The sword and its name have become very widespread in popular culture, and are used in fiction and films. Excalibur is a symbol of divine kingship and great power.
Merlin had the sword in the stone, it was him who had placed the sort IN the stone.
The sword after being pulled out of the river.
Well assuming Arthurian legend is accurate it is in the lake that is inhabited by the lady of the lake where Excalibur comes to rest. which according to some scholars is supposedly lake Windermere. Interesting point, this could be a reference to iron age traditions of depositing swords in water courses including lakes.
The iron sword was originally found stuck in the ground upright in 1994 at an archaeological site in the old town of Valencia, a city located on Spain's eastern coast. The site was located to the north of the ancient Roman Forum, in an area that has been occupied by various cultures throughout the city's history.
Given its position, researchers named the artifact "Excalibur" after the mythical sword from the British legend of King Arthur. The myth describes a special sword that was fixed in a stone upright with magic. In the story, only Arthur was able to pull the sword from the stone, and after doing so, he was crowned king.
The age of the real sword found in Valencia had remained unclear since its discovery, thus hampering attempts to interpret its significance. But now, the Archeology Service (SIAM) of the Valencia City Council has managed to date the sword, determining that it originates from the 10th century, making the artifact more than 1,000 years old.
This places the weapon within a time period when much of the Iberian Peninsula, including Valencia, was under Islamic rule, with this area referred to as Al-Andalus. The Islamic period in Spain began in A.D. 711 and ended in A.D. 1492 after a successful military campaign by the forces of European Christian kingdoms.
The dating of the sword means it is the first from the Islamic era to be found in Valencia, according to SIAM. In general, well-preserved swords from this period are rare in Spain, particularly in Valencia, where the characteristics of the soil make conservation difficult.
There are multiple lakes associated with the location of King Arthur's sword, Excalibur, including:
BEFORE THE PIZZA, ....Round Table, in Arthurian legend, the table of Arthur, Britain’s legendary king, which was first mentioned in Wace of Jersey’s Roman de Brut (1155). This told of King Arthur’s having a round table made so that none of his barons, when seated at it, could claim precedence over the others. The literary importance of the Round Table, especially in romances of the 13th century and afterward, lies in the fact that it served to provide the knights of Arthur’s court with a name and a collective personality. The fellowship of the Round Table, in fact, became comparable to, and in many respects the prototype of, the many great orders of chivalry that were founded in Europe during the later Middle Ages. By the late 15th century, when Sir Thomas Malory wrote his Le Morte Darthur, the notion of chivalry was inseparable from that of a great military brotherhood established in the household of some great prince.
Arthur was appointed king by his father Uther Pendragon, but his right to the throne was established when Arthur pulled the sword Excalibur from a stone. Advised by the magician Merlin, Arthur strengthened his kingdom by fighting off would-be rivals. The best fighters became his Knights of the Round Table. Arthur experienced many betrayals during his reign, the worst coming from his wife who had an affair with one of the knights, Sir Lancelot, and the other betrayal came from Mordred, Arthur's son, who usurped the throne. In a battle for supremacy, Mordred wounded Arthur, who died by the hand of his own son.
King Arthur fought many rivals to his throne. Of the most valiant fighters of Arthur's battles, Arthur chose those who fought well, even choosing from those who had been his enemies. The knights came from noble families.
While the number of Knights of the Round Table varies according to the numerous stories and legends surrounding the Arthur and his knights, the original number that could sit at the table was 150. Other sources name twelve.
The Round Table: Merlin is instrumental in the establishment of the Round Table, a symbol of equality among Arthur's knights. This item represents Merlin's vision for a unified kingdom and his role as a counselor to Arthur.
According to Arthurian legend, the Round Table was created by Merlin for King Uther Pendragon, mirroring the table of the Last Supper and the table of Joseph of Arimathea, which are associated with the Holy Grail, symbolizing equality among the knights who sat at it, with no single seat having more importance than another.
